The exact details, scope, location, duration, deliverables, and price of each session may vary depending on the selected service, client needs, location, availability, and any additional requests.

3. Inquiries and bookings

Submitting a contact form or inquiry through the website does not automatically confirm a booking.

A booking is confirmed only after:

• The session details have been discussed and agreed;
• The date and time have been confirmed by Carmen Sirboiu Photography;
• Any required deposit or payment has been received, where applicable.

We reserve the right to decline or cancel an inquiry if the requested service, date, location, or scope is not available, suitable, or compatible with our photography services.

4. Prices

Prices displayed on the website may be shown as starting prices, package prices, or estimated service fees.

Where a price is shown as “starting from”, the final price may vary depending on the session type, duration, location, number of images, travel requirements, additional editing, print products, or other custom requests.

Final pricing will be confirmed before the booking is completed.

5. Payments

Payment terms will be communicated individually before confirming the booking.

Depending on the type of session, Carmen Sirboiu Photography may request:

• A deposit to secure the booking date;
• Full payment before or on the day of the session;
• Final payment before delivery of the edited images.

If payment is not received within the agreed timeframe, we reserve the right to postpone delivery, cancel the booking, or release the reserved date.

6. Cancellations and rescheduling

If you need to cancel or reschedule a session, please contact us as soon as possible at info@carmen.photo.

Rescheduling is subject to availability.

If a session cannot take place due to illness, unsafe weather conditions, force majeure, or circumstances outside either party’s control, we will work with you to find a suitable alternative date where possible.

Cancellation terms, including whether a deposit is refundable, may depend on the type of service and the timing of the cancellation. These details may be agreed individually before booking.

7. Client responsibilities

The client is responsible for:

• Providing accurate contact and booking information;
• Arriving on time for the session;
• Communicating any specific needs, expectations, or restrictions before the session;
• Obtaining permission to use any private location where the session takes place;
• Ensuring children, pets, or other participants are supervised during the session;
• Informing Carmen Sirboiu Photography in advance of any sensitivities, accessibility needs, or special circumstances.

We are not responsible for delays, missed shots, reduced session time, or limited results caused by late arrival, lack of preparation, unavailable locations, lack of permissions, or circumstances outside our control.

8. Session location and travel

Photography sessions may take place at an agreed outdoor location, indoor location, studio, business premises, event venue, or another suitable place.

Any travel included in a package will be clearly stated before booking. Additional travel outside the included area may be subject to extra charges.

For outdoor sessions, weather conditions may require flexibility. If the weather is unsuitable, the session may be rescheduled or adjusted by mutual agreement.

9. Image selection and editing

After the session, images may be delivered through an online gallery or another agreed delivery method.

Depending on the selected service or package, the client may receive:

• A private gallery for image selection;
• A specific number of edited digital images;
• The option to purchase additional edited images;
• The option to order print products, where available.

Editing style is part of the artistic identity of Carmen Sirboiu Photography. Final image selection, editing, color treatment, cropping, and retouching are completed according to our professional judgment and photographic style.

RAW, unedited, or original image files are not provided unless agreed separately in writing.

10. Delivery time

Estimated delivery times may vary depending on the type of session, season, workload, number of images, and editing requirements.

Any delivery timeframe communicated before or after the session is an estimate unless expressly agreed otherwise in writing.

We will make reasonable efforts to deliver the final edited images within the communicated timeframe.

11. Copyright and image ownership

All photographs, images, and creative works produced by Carmen Sirboiu Photography remain the intellectual property and copyright of Carmen Sirboiu Photography, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Clients receive a usage license for the final delivered images.

For private sessions, this generally allows clients to use the delivered images for personal purposes, such as:

• Personal printing;
• Sharing with family and friends;
• Personal social media use;
• Personal website use, where relevant.

For business, commercial, corporate, advertising, editorial, or promotional use, the permitted usage rights depend on the service booked and any separate written agreement.

Images may not be sold, licensed, altered, heavily edited, entered into competitions, used for AI training, or used for commercial purposes beyond the agreed license without written permission from Carmen Sirboiu Photography.

12. Social media and credit

Clients may share delivered images on social media.

When possible, credit to Carmen Sirboiu Photography or Carmen Photo is appreciated, but it is not mandatory unless agreed for a specific collaboration, commercial project, or promotional arrangement.

Images should not be altered with heavy filters, AI modifications, or edits that significantly change the original photographic style.

13. Portfolio and marketing use

We respect your privacy.

Carmen Sirboiu Photography may request permission to use selected images for portfolio, website, social media, marketing, printed materials, or promotional purposes.

Images will not be used publicly for portfolio or marketing purposes if the client has not provided consent or has requested privacy.

For corporate events or commercial projects, image usage rights and publication permissions may be agreed separately.

14. Children and minors

For sessions involving children or minors, the booking must be made by a parent, guardian, or authorized adult.

The responsible adult must be present during the session unless otherwise agreed.

The client confirms that they have the authority to give permission for the child or minor to participate in the photography session.

15. Pets

For pet photography sessions, the client is responsible for the safety, behavior, and supervision of the pet during the session.

The client must inform Carmen Sirboiu Photography in advance about any behavioral concerns, safety issues, sensitivities, or location restrictions.

We are not responsible for accidents, damage, or injury caused by pets during the session.

16. Events

For event photography, the client is responsible for ensuring that photography is permitted at the venue and that any required permissions have been obtained.

We will make reasonable efforts to capture key moments, but we cannot guarantee that every person, detail, or moment will be photographed, especially in fast-moving or uncontrolled environments.

The client is responsible for providing relevant schedules, important moments, key people, and special requests before the event.

17. Website content

The content on this website is provided for general information about our services.

We make reasonable efforts to keep the website accurate and up to date, but we do not guarantee that all content, prices, availability, or service descriptions are always complete, current, or error-free.

We may update, remove, or modify website content at any time without prior notice.

18. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Carmen Sirboiu Photography is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use of this website or photography services.

19. Force majeure

Carmen Sirboiu Photography is not responsible for delays, cancellations, or failure to perform caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to illness, accidents, extreme weather, natural disasters, technical failures, transport disruption, government restrictions, venue restrictions, or other unforeseen events.

Where possible, we will work with the client to reschedule or find a reasonable solution.
